What to have ready
Tell us the pickup and delivery locations, roughly how many rooms are involved, your target date, and anything unusual such as a piano, a gun safe, or a third floor walk up.
If you have already decided whether packing help fits your plan, say so up front. If you are not sure, we can talk through the difference in scope and cost during the same conversation.
How the estimate gets built
For local moves we estimate crew size and hours from your inventory and the access at both addresses. For long distance moves the figure comes from estimated weight and mileage.
Larger homes and anything unusual get a walk through, either in person or on a video call where you carry a phone from room to room. A smaller apartment can usually get a fair number from a written inventory alone.
When to reach out
For a move at the end of the month or during summer, three to four weeks ahead gives the best chance at your preferred date. Mid month dates in spring or fall can sometimes be booked with just a week's notice.
If your current plan fell through and you are in a bind, reach out anyway. We will tell you honestly whether we can fit you in.
After you book
You get a confirmation with the crew size, arrival window, and a short checklist for the days before the move. A day or two out we confirm the details and answer any last questions.
On the morning of the move, the lead calls once the truck is on the way, so nobody is standing at the window guessing when it will show up.

People often wonder whether we handle a single piece of furniture, whether we can help load a rental container, or whether a move under two hours away still counts as long distance.
