Booking and timing
Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable for most local moves. End of month weekends and the summer months fill first, so if your lease ends on the thirty first, call earlier rather than later.
If another company let you down at the last minute, ask anyway. Crews open up more often than people expect, and we will tell you honestly if we can fit the date.
Pricing and estimates
Local moves are priced by the crew size and the hours it takes. Long distance moves inside and out of Texas are priced by the weight of the load and the miles driven, with the truck weighed on a certified scale.
Everything goes into writing before your date is confirmed, so there is nothing to argue about once the truck is loaded.
Packing questions
You can book full packing, partial packing for just the fragile rooms, or handle it yourself and hire us only to load and drive. Tell the estimator which option fits and the quote reflects it.
We use materials built for stacking and for Texas humidity, not grocery store boxes that soften and collapse.
Moving in the heat
For any move between June and September we push for the earliest start a building or neighborhood allows. Heat sensitive items such as electronics, candles, and houseplants load last and come off first.
If your schedule is flexible, a weekday morning slot tends to run cooler and cheaper than a Saturday afternoon in August.
Apartments and storage
Yes, we handle apartment moves regularly and plan around elevator bookings and loading zone rules. We can also load or unload a storage container or shuttle boxes into a storage unit if that fits your situation better than a straight move.
What if something changes before the date
Life does not always cooperate with a moving calendar. If your closing date shifts or you add a room of boxes you did not expect, tell us as soon as you know and we will adjust the plan rather than sticking to a number that no longer fits.
Cancellations happen too, and we would rather hear about a change early than have a crew show up to an empty schedule slot.
